How much does US ESTA cost?
US$40.27 per approved authorisation for FY2026 — made up of a $17 travel promotion fee, a $10.27 CBP operational fee and a $13 Treasury fee. This rose sharply from $21 on 30 September 2025 and is now adjusted for inflation each year. If your application is denied you are charged only the $10.27 operational portion. Pay only on the official CBP site.
How long is US ESTA valid?
Generally 2 years for multiple trips, or until your passport expires.
